One of the subtle things that make the Switchboard experience so unique is the digital sense of "space".
Each room can be customized to fit its use. Changing out backgrounds sets the mood for the room and puts your team in the right headspace for the task at hand.
Try organizing the the elements in your room to flow with the room's purpose. Here's a couple of quick examples.
Team Meeting:
This room is set for a recurring team meeting and flows left to right. The agenda is in a sticky note to start the meeting and another sticky note is used at the end to collect any questions along the way.
A different browser is open for each of the presenters to use and makes it easy to transition between topics. The browsers can be left open til the next meeting for easy reference.
Personal room
Creating a private room is a great way to keep your thoughts and to do list organized. This example uses a sticky note for a simple to-do list. Then files and browsers are clustered together depending on the task they are for. This make jumping between tasks seamless and organized.
