Sections allow you to organize apps like notes and browsers inside of your Switchboard rooms. 

Let's see how sections can improve a weekly leadership meeting room. 

Bob, Alice, and Carol are department heads that share updates each meeting. They keep browsers open in the room to their respective dashboards. Then they add pdfs, presentations, and additional browsers to dive into specific topics.  After a few weeks, the room is starting to feel cluttered. 

We'll start by adding a few sections to help clean things up.

1) Add a new section

Click Section button in the bottom bar to add a new section.
You can also add sections by right clicking in the room and selecting Add new > Section

2) Add apps to a section 

Next, we can drag apps into the section and drop them in once we see the blue outline.

Apps inside a section will all move together when we drag the section around the room. 

Dragging an app all the way our of a section removes it from the section. 

3) Customizing sections

• Once we've created our sections, we can double click on the section titles to rename them Bob, Alice, and Carol. 
• We can also use the droplet icon next to the section title to pick a different color for each section.
• Dragging the corners or edges of a section will resize it.
• Clicking the lock icon will lock the section in place in the room. Apps can still be added or removed from locked section, but the section itself cannot be moved while locked.

4) Clearing and deleting sections

Once you're done with a section you can click the three dot menu at the top of the section to bring up options for "Delete Section" or "Close all apps in section" to empty a section but keep it in the room.

Now that we've got their room organized each person has a clear section they can use to preload the room with relevant content, and make presenting even easier.
